Bryan College Arboretum
An arboretum is a place for exhibition and study of many kinds of trees and shrubs―basically a botanical garden of trees.
The Major Goals of the Bryan College Arboretum
- To preserve and enhance existing and future trees by demonstrating environmentally responsible management.
- To teach environmental stewardship, biodiversity and horticulture through interpretive signage, self-guided tours, and eventually guided group tours, lectures and audio-visual media.
- To provide teaching and research materials.
- To partner with the community to encourage outdoor recreation and enjoyment of creation.
The Bryan College Arboretum brochure contains a map to guide you to the labeled trees.
