- June 30, 2003 We just added a significant new function to CELD: Content browsing. Now, when you click on the Content Report or a journal abbreviation, you will be given the option of browsing the contents of a journal. Simply click on the 'Browse' link, and you will receive a complete list of the issues of that journal in CELD. Click on an issue, an you will see a list of articles from that issue. If you're on an abstract page, you can click the Browse link to view the contents of the issue of the journal in which the abstract you're viewing appears. Also, if you haven't seen the content report lately, we're closing in on 16,000 articles in CELD, and we've added volumes 7-45 (1873-1913) of the Journal of the Transactions of the Victoria Institute.
- October 9, 2002 Check out the new multiple-abstract feature on CELD. Now when you search for anything on CELD, the reference summary page has a checkbox feature next to each reference listed. You can click on those references that are of interest to you, go to the bottom of the page and click the button "View Selected Abstracts," and CELD will generate a report with all the selected abstracts on a single page suitable for printing. We hope you find this new feature useful.
- September 25, 2002 Welcome to the New and (hopefully) Improved CELD web interface. The database and search engine are the same, but the HTML output has been altered to be more viewable on small, low-resolution monitors. Also, we added a brief tutorial to explain the basics of how to use CELD most effectively. Lastly, the archiving of Creation magazine is officially at the half-way point today. If you haven't seen the content report lately (CELD contains more than 11,000 references now), click on the "Content Report" link at the top of the page.
- August 28, 2002 We fixed a bug in the resource (journal) reporting script. Users of Netscape 4.7 should now be able to see the whole site. Please report any errors. Also, when searching for authors, note that complete first names are NOT recorded in CELD, only the author's last name and initials. Author queries should take the form: 'Morris, H'.
- August 15, 2002 Please note that we are not a document delivery service. The abstracts provided are for research purposes ONLY. Thank you.
- August 1, 2002 I'm fiddling with the interface to give us a search box always at the top of the page. We'll see how it works out.
- August 1, 2002 We completely finished archiving the CRS Quarterly. 3068 items with references and abstracts.
- August 1, 2002 Archiving of Creation magazine begins today.
